Cultivos
Los cultivos son una fuente de alimento y algún material. Aunque cada cultivo es ligeramente diferente, todos ellos comparten algunos principios. Para empezar a cultivarlos, necesitarás obtener algunas Semillas, las cuales se pueden obtener buscando Cultivos Silvestres y rompiéndolos.
Una vez tengas semillas, también necesitarás una Azada. Las semillas también son útiles como cebo.
Además de encontrar cultivos silvestres, las semillas también se pueden producir a partir de cultivos existentes. Cuando muere una cosecha completamente madura - ya sea por el clima o por dejar que se pudra- este granará, soltando más semillas que podrán usarse para cultivar aún más la próxima temporada.

Para empezar, una Azada de Piedra puede tallarse como se vio anteriormente.
Una vez el cabezal de la azada esté tallado, puede craftearse en una Azada.
Las Azadas funcionan como en Vanilla, haciendo clic derecho en bloques de tierra para convertirlos en Tierra de Cultivo. También se pueden usar para convertir Tierra Enraizada en Tierra.
Growing Crops
Todos los cultivos deben plantarse en tierras de cultivo para poder crecer. Algunos cultivos tienen requerimientos adicionales como estar anegado o necesitar un palo en el que crecer.
Los Cultivos no necesitan nutrientes para crecer, pero sin duda ayudan. Hay tres nutrientes:Nitrógeno, , y Potasio. Cada cultivo tiene un nutriente favorito.
Consuming its favorite nutrient causes a crop to grow faster, and improves the yield of the crop at harvest time. That means that crops that consumed more nutrients drop more food when broken! Consuming a nutrient also has the effect of replenishing the other nutrients around it a small amount.

Cebada

Barley is a single block crop. Barley seeds can be planted on farmland and will produce Barley and Barley Seeds as a product.
Avena

Rice is a single block crop. Rice must be grown underwater - it must be planted on farmland, in freshwater that is a single block deep. It will produce Rice and Rice Seeds as a product.

Pumpkins

Pumpkins are a spreading crop. Pumpkin seeds can be planted on farmland and will place up to two Pumpkin Blocks on the ground next to it while it is mature. If the pumpkin blocks are harvested, and the plant matures again, it can grow more pumpkins. Pumpkins can be made into Jack 'o Lanterns.
Melons
Temperature: 5 - 37 °C

Melons are a spreading crop. Melon seeds can be planted on farmland and will place up to two Melon Blocks on the ground next to it while it is mature. If the melon blocks are harvested, and the plant matures again, it can grow more melon.
Red Bell Peppers
Temperature: 16 - 30 °C
Hydration: 25 - 60 %
Nutrient: Potassium
Red Bell Peppers are a pickable crop. When they are near mature, they can be harvested with Right Click to obtain Green Bell Peppers. Harvesting with Right Click allows the plant to grow more peppers in the future rather than destroying the plant.
Yellow Bell Peppers
Temperature: 16 - 30 °C

Nutrient: Potassium
Yellow Bell Peppers are a pickable crop. When they are near mature, they can be harvested with Right Click to obtain Green Bell Peppers. Harvesting with Right Click allows the plant to grow more peppers in the future rather than destroying the plant.
Onions

Papyrus is a two block tall crop. Papyrus seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Papyrus and Papyrus Seeds as a product.
Girasol

A Sunflower is a two block tall crop. Sunflower seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Sunflower Caps which can be processed into Seed Oil. Seed Oil can both be used as Lamp Fuel, as well as Bio Diesel later on.
A Sunflower also counts as a Flower for the purposes of Beekeeping.
Wild Sunflowers grow between 5 and 40C, and 100 to 450mm of rainfall. Their seeds can also be roasted and eaten!
Canola

Canola is a two block tall crop. Canola seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Canola Ovules which can be processed into Seed Oil. Seed Oil can both be used as Lamp Fuel, as well as Bio Diesel later on.
Canola also counts as a Flower for the purposes of Beekeeping.
Wild Canola, also known as Rapeseed, grows between -7 and 25C, and 50 to 350mm of rainfall.
Lino
Temperature: -8 - 25 °C

Nutrient: Nitrogen
Flax is a two block tall crop. Flax seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Flax Stems which can be processed into Linen or Burlap.
Flax also counts as a Flower for the purposes of Beekeeping.
Wild Flax grows between -5 and 23C, and 175 to 475mm of rainfall.
Pepino
Temperature: 5 - 40 °C

Cucumbers are a two block tall crop. Cucumber seeds can be planted on farmland, will grow two blocks tall, and will produce Cucumbers which give Vegetable nutrition.
Cucumbers need a stick to fully mature.
Wild Cucumber grows between 15 and 40C, and 350 to 500mm of rainfall.
Rábano

Radishes can be eaten for Vegetable nutrition. If you need a plant that can survive in colder temperatures, radishes are a good choice.
Wild Radishes grow between -16 and 4C, and 75 to 325mm of rainfall.
Lenteja

Hydration: 50 - 100 %
Nutrient: Phosphorus
Lentils can be eaten for Vegetable nutrition, although it is recommended to cook them first. Lentils are another good choice for farming in colder climates.
Wild Lentils grow between -18 and 2C, and 250 to 425mm of rainfall.
