Herbs and Spices
In Firmalife, there are a number of small plants you can collect and grow on your own, which have cooking properties. They can all be found in the wild, and once harvested, may be cultivated in a Greenhouse, in which they consume 20 points of N, P, and K.
Wild Basil grows between 12 and 25C, and 300 to 500mm of rainfall.
Wild Bay Laurel grows between 8 and 14C, and 25 to 225mm of rainfall.
Wild Cardamom grows between 18 and 30C, and 350 to 500mm of rainfall.
Wild Cilantro grows between 5 and 15C, and 0 to 150mm of rainfall.
Wild Cumin grows between 6 and 20C, and 50 to 250mm of rainfall.
Wild Oregano grows between 5 and 13C, and 50 to 150mm of rainfall.
Wild Pimento grows between 15 and 30C, and 200 to 450mm of rainfall.
Wild Vanilla grows between 18 and 30C, and 200 to 500mm of rainfall.
Seed Balls can be used to plant different types of Grass. This can be useful after clearing your base for building. The recipe for the seed ball requires Compost and 4 Seeds.
A butterfly grass plant.
Butterfly grass will mature over time. When one reaches maturity, it has a chance to spread to surrounding blocks, or turn into something new. Butterfly grass blocks that have been spread by another grass block do not spread anymore.
After Butterfly grass turns into another grass, you can pick them up with Shears.
